These contain very different active substances, each with a different natural effect. Not every oregano variety is the same. The active substances in Turkish wild oregano or in Greek or Spanish culinary oregano vary greatly. These herbs are unsuitable for use with racing pigeons.

Dostofarm Germany has its own patented plants from which only Dosto-Oregano Oil is extracted. Dosto-oregano oil contains special ingredients that can only be found in this composition. This is also the reason for its excellent and reliable effect on racing pigeons. In addition, Dosto-Oregano Oil is standardized so that the same effect is always guaranteed. They do not supply cheap wild-harvested oils and certainly no synthetic oils. Therefore, they are also the only ones able to produce Dosto-oregano oil that meets the quality standards of pharmaceutical legislation.

This makes the quality of our new Dosto-Oregano unique. The concentration of active substances in liquid and powder form has been increased to 12% and in feed oil to 3%. By adding new essential oils with a proven positive effect on the respiratory system, you kill two birds with one stone. Special attention should be given to the new Dosto Oregano Powder 12% + Plus ENERGY. Not only because of the higher concentration and the new essential oils for the respiratory tract, but also because of the addition of a special aroma. This product can be used for healthy intestinal function and supports the upper respiratory tract. We were the pioneers in pigeon racing for high-quality Dosto-Oregano Oil, and we remain so with new Dosto-Oregano innovations.

Dosto-Oregano Liquid 12%

The dosage of Dosto-Oregano Liquid 12% is 1 ml per 3 liters of water. Simple, affordable, and practical! This liquid product can be added daily to your pigeons’ drinking water. During the molting period, all my pigeons receive Dosto-Oregano Liquid 12% daily in combination with Med. Tollyamin Forte in the drinking water. The result is a perfectly smooth molt and pigeons with fantastic new plumage. During the winter period, three times a week is sufficient. I would not continue giving the combination of Dosto-Oregano Liquid 12% and Med. Tollyamin Forte after molting because the pigeons would otherwise come into condition too early.

For breeding pigeons, I use Dosto-Oregano Liquid 12% three times per week. You can also use it daily. It does not matter whether the pigeons are incubating eggs or feeding young birds. Newly weaned young pigeons receive the liquid product daily in their drinking water. In addition, give Quick (iodine and iron) twice per week. This combination plays a role in disease resistance. With this simple method, you can prepare the young pigeons for the racing season. You will be amazed at how well the pigeons perform.

Dosto-Oregano Feed Oil 3%

Dosto-Oregano Feed Oil 3%, as the name suggests, should only be given over the feed. It does not dissolve in water! For pigeon enthusiasts who prefer adding the product to feed, Dosto-Oregano Feed Oil 3% with the modern dosing cap is the ideal solution. Each press of the dosing cap dispenses 2 ml. I recommend 5 ml per 1 kg of feed as the standard dosage.

With Dosto-Oregano Feed Oil 3%, all other powder products bind optimally to the feed. During the racing season, I give Dosto-Oregano Feed Oil 3% combined with Immunol over the feed for 1–2 days after the pigeons return. Afterwards, the pigeons are in perfect condition. The down feathers loosen, and every loft contains round, firm droppings.
