Dr. Dirk Moens – Veterinarian and specialist in small animals, poultry and racing pigeons

Dr. Dirk Moens has more than 30 years of professional experience as a veterinarian. After studying at Ghent University, he specialized in the health care of small animals and poultry, particularly racing pigeons.

In his practice in Grimbergen (Flemish Brabant, Belgium), Dr. Moens has built an excellent reputation over many years in racing pigeon sport and in the poultry sector. His extensive experience, expertise and closeness to the fanciers make him a valued point of contact for racing pigeon breeders.

For us as the Tollisan company, it is of great importance to work with a competent and experienced specialist veterinarian for racing pigeons. With Dirk Moens, we have a strong partner at our side who leads our veterinary practice with great expertise and passion.

The enthusiasm for racing pigeons was practically instilled in Dirk Moens from the cradle. His grandfather and father were already closely connected with pigeon racing – a passion that today lives on in the third generation. His father won, among other achievements, the 1st National prize from Pau (850 km) in Belgium. Dirk himself also achieved major sporting successes and won a national victory from Bourges (450 km) in the yearlings category against more than 33,000 pigeons.

Dirk Moens is also especially appreciated for his open and friendly manner. He takes time for the concerns and questions of breeders and supports them with advice and experience.
